We here at Kelli & Daniel Taylor Photography are excited to share this incredible English-inspired wedding with you. Joy and Randie wanted a a formal, timeless wedding at First United Methodist Church in downtown Birmingham. We don’t think it could have been more perfect.
Joy’s breathtaking Romona Keveza dress from Ivory & White in Mountain Brook had the best movement on the dance floor. Her detailed and formal look was inspired from the timeless Grace Kelly. To complete her bridal look, Joy wore a 12-foot veil with vintage Belgian lace, which belonged to a longtime friend of the family.
Randie chose Dobell Menswear UK for his British-styled tux. His look was finished with custom cufflinks of the crest from his alma mater, Cambridge University.
With the lovely design work of planner Christina Sloan and some special guidance from Joy’s mom, the reception was a complete surprise for Joy and Randie. After the ceremony, we joined them for a private reveal of their very own “Enchanted English Garden.”
We would love to thank the talented wedding pros who made Joy and Randie’s wedding day so memorable. Christina Sloan has a genuine heart for making brides’ visions come to life. She now channels her talents through her downtown Birmingham bridal salon, Refined.
LSL Event Design created a slate of stunning florals. A highlight was Joy’s orchid cascade bouquet, which was fastened to an heirloom family Bible. What a beautiful vintage look. The Glow made the bridal party look beautiful. And Happy Catering Co., Cakes by Kim and Onsite Productions created all the ingredients for the fairy tale reception.
